New Farm Cheshire Fishery

FOur attractive lakes

Fishery closed to members until the 8th of April as it's so wet hopefully it be dry by then . Please keep an eye on website for updates ! sorry about this

With three attractive and well stocked lakes, two of which are over an acre in size, there are plenty of places for you to set up camp and fish the day away.  The lakes are for coarse fishing with a mixture of:

  • Mirror Carp
  • Common Carp
  • Tench
  • Grass Carp
  • Crucian Carp
  • F1 Carp
  • Chub
  • Barbell
  • Bream

The carp lake has two islands, 14 pegs and the biggest fish, from 6-23lbs. The middle lake has a good variety of silvers including bream and tench which run to at least 5lbs. Mark’s pool is about a third of an acre in peaceful surroundings with carp up to 10lbs and some lovely crucians to about 2lbs and tench to 3lbs Barbell 7 lbs.

All in all for pleasure anglers it adds up to a very pleasant venue for a day, weekend, midweek break or even longer angling holiday.

Please note we do not allow fishing matches.

Very handy for Oulton Park Ideal for racing teams with plenty of parking available. or singleton on a Motorbike! Owner Mark very accommodating - provided an excellent early breakfast. Immaculate rooms.

Probably the best independent B & B I have ever stayed in. There was nothing to improve. The needs of visitors had been well anticipated and the whole visit lacked nothing. The accommodation was very very clean, the beds were very comfortable as were the pillows (very important). The staff were extra helpful and the food hot and plentiful. The whole appearance of the property was impeccable. I cannot recommend New Farm highly enough.

Rural stay in excellent location The owner was very welcoming and helpful. He recommended an evening meal at the Dysart Arms in Bunbury (about 4 miles away). The pub was a charming old-world building and the food was fabulous and very reasonably priced. Breakfast at New Farm was also fabulous. I would be very happy to return.
